How to Super Jump in Splatoon 3

Your main objective in Splatoon 3 is to lay down ink and cover the turf in your team’s color. There are other objectives, such as capturing points, splashing your opponents, etc. Either way, you want to make sure you’re in on the action or playing the objective. A great way to do this is to Super Jump around the map. This may have you wondering how to Super Jump in Splatoon 3.

How to Perform a Super Jump in Splatoon 3

To perform a super jump, press X to open your map, either when respawning or at any time during the match. Use the D-pad to quickly navigate between your allies or use the left stick to select one. Then press the A button. You can instead cancel the Super Jump by pressing X and closing the map.

Your character will transform into a squid and prepare to jump. After a few seconds, you’ll leap into the air and land where your ally was when you chose to super jump them. This is incredibly useful for quickly getting back into action or helping out a teammate who needs backup.

One thing to note is that Super Jumping takes time and places a signal where you are going to land. This leaves you open to attack and the Irish to splash you if you Super Jump too close to an enemy or in combat. So make sure you’re safe and landing somewhere safe before confirming your Super Jump.
