Three Persona games are making their way to PC, Xbox and PlayStation

Atlus has revealed that Persona 5 Royal, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 3 Portable will be coming to PC, Xbox One, Series X|S, and Game Pass. The announcement was made during the Xbox and Bethesda showcase as part of Summer Games Fest 2022. An update following the announcement confirms that the games will also be coming to Playstation.

Persona 5 Royal will hit platforms on October 21, 2022, along with all previously released DLC. However, Atlus is keeping mum on the platform release dates for Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable with “enhanced graphics” for now, with more news to come in the future.

Persona 5 Royal released for PlayStation 4 in October 2019, and we gave it high marks for its story, characters, quality of life improvements, localization, and visuals. It regularly makes appearances on many “best RPG” lists. Royal adds new characters to the mix, along with a number of other notable elements based on Persona 5. It was previously only available on PlayStation.

Like Royal to Persona 5, Persona 4 Golden is a bloated version of Persona 4, originally released on PlayStation 2 in 2008 before making its way to PlayStation Vita in 2012, PS3 in 2014. Interestingly, Golden is not on modern The PlayStation platforms, having only been released on PC in 2020.

Persona 3 Portable is also currently absent from the modern PlayStation console lineup, having launched for the PlayStation Portable in North America in 2010. It is also an enhanced port of the 2006 PS2 JRPG, Persona 3.
