Top 11 Most Expensive Items to Buy in OSRS (2022)

Old School RuneScape has some pretty expensive items, which makes sense considering the game has been around for almost as long as our current century. Below we have collected the most valuable items that can be found in the Grand Exchange.

Runescape’s Most Expensive Items

1. Pickaxe of the 3rd Age

Cost: 2,147,483,647

One of the reasons the 3rd Age Pickaxe is the most valuable item on this list is that it cannot be crafted by any skill. It’s possible to get from Treasure Trails, but other than that it’s a tough find. To wield the pickaxe, you will need 65 attacks and at least 61 mines if you plan to use it against ores.

2. Druidic Robe Top of the 3rd Age

Cost: 1,618,174,476

Another Treasure Trails reward, the Druidic Robe Top is a rare gift that requires the player to have at least 65 prayers to put on the robes. It can offer the highest prayer bonus of all chest items.

3. Shadow of Tumeken (uncharged)

Cost: 1,328,629,089

The only way to get the Shadow of Tumeken is to drop into the Tombs of Amascut. It comes with a magic spell that will give the player +2 magic experience for each damage dealt but cannot be used to automatically cast other combat spells. You will need 85 magic points to wield it.

4. Twisted Bow

Cost: 1,265,056,806

Once your ranged level reaches at least 85, look for this reward in Xeric’s Chambers. This bow will fire any type of arrow and is especially effective against powerful magic monsters.

5. 3rd Age Druidic Robe Bottoms

Cost: 1,257,707,953

Like the second place top, the 3rd Age Druid Robe Bottoms require at least level 65 prayer to wear. They offer a +6 to prayer.

6. Arc of the 3rd Age

Cost: 787,342,934

The 3rd Age bow cannot be crafted with the fletching skill and you will need at least level 65 in the ranged skill to wield this bow. That being said, if you get this bow as a reward from the Elite or Master Treasure Trails, you will be able to shoot any type of arrow (up to the dragon) with the same speed as a short bow.

7. Elyos Seal

Cost: 771,218,214

Although it only costs 1,500,000 coins to craft the Elyos Sigil if you have level 90 in prayer, level 85 in blacksmithing and all the necessary parts, the Elyos sigil is also offered as a drop of the body beast .

8. Druidic Cloak of the 3rd Age

Cost: 749,197,018

The Druidic Cloak of the 3rd Age requires level 65 in prayer but offers the same valuable bonuses as the clothing cloaks. Plus, the dresses look pretty cool on everyone who wears them.

9. Elyos Spirit Shield

Cost: 602,439,871

The Elyos Spirit Shield is a bit complex to craft, which is part of why it’s such a popular item for players. If you have level 75 defense and prayer, try to get your hands on this spirit shield which will give you solid melee and ranged defense bonuses.

10. Torva Platebody

Cost: 415,765,132

The Torva platebody gives you the strongest strength bonus of any body gear and as such requires 80 defense to wear. This platebody also provides Zarosian protection while in the God Wars dungeon.

11. Masori Armor Set

Cost: 406,207,265

Masori armor sets come with a Masori mask, body, and leggings that your character can wear. The combination of three desirable items certainly increases the price of an item, which is why this completes our list of the most expensive items in Old School RuneScape.
